FAULKNER Nasal Curette

The Aprikos Medical Faulkner Antrum Curette is a surgical tool that helps doctors treat nasal sinuses. It is used for taking tissue samples from tumors in the antrum. Doctors use it to cut small pieces of tissue to check diseases or to remove masses causing sinus infections. The curette has a central handle that surgeons use to guide the blade and remove tissue from the nasal cavity. The outer serrations on the handle also prevent slipping during surgery. The Faulkner Antrum Curette has two round blades with small holes (fenestrations) to make clean cuts. The different sizes of the blades allow doctors to handle a wide range of surgical situations. Both blades have tapering necks so doctors can see narrow areas of the nose.
